DJ Craig Olsen Biography:
Music has always been a focus in my life. From singing in my parents car when I was a kid, to the piano lessons during grade school.
I would crank my dads stereo system in the basement and dance like I knew what I was doing. I would take the mic and sing like I knew the words.
Simply, it was more than fun.

   My love of music has evolved throughout my life. I went to the local record store when I was 12 or so and bought my first 12in vinyl. Back then it was freestyle, rap, break dancing and some house music.
I would play it as loud as my parents would allow (when they were home) and when they weren't, I would play it as loud as I could handle. 
I remember going to my friends apartment in Brooklyn when I was 15 and seeing his turntable/mixer set up.
His dj set up was very similar to Omar Epp's Character  in "Juice", it was simple and truly old school.
I saw what my friend was doing and how he was making mix tapes (with actual cassette tapes). I knew that one day, I would want to own a set of turntables and a mixer....

Fast forward 7yrs and I finally was able to get my hands on 2 Technic's 1200m3d's and a Pioneer Djm600 Mixer! 
How these fell into my lap, is an interesting swap of a flat screen TV for the equipment. I still have the Technic's but have since upgraded to some other top of the line equipment.

I have an attention to detail, customer service oriented and work diligently to provide a customized event for my clients! I have been a mobile DJ since 2002 and have been able to please crowds in many different settings.
